Since this last race of the season is usually felt in the cyclers’ legs, a good preparation is key. And this preparation, at least for a part, always takes place at the Dolphin Academy Curaçao.
The cyclers could loosen up their legs during their Dolphin Swim with dolphins Tela and Annie. Frank and Andy Schleck, Sebastian Langeveld , Jurgen Roelandts, Jurgen van den Broeck, Wouter Weylandt, Stijn Devolder, Greg van Aevermaet, Laurens ten Dam, Edvald Hagen, Bauke Mollema and World champion Track Cycling Theo Bos, who made his debut on the road in Curaçao were present.
Closely followed by the international press, the otherwise busy gentlemen gave 30 minutes of undivided attention to the dolphin ladies. They surely appreciated this, which ensured a relaxed session.
On Saturday the 1st of November the cyclers have battled each other on the roads of Curaçao. Relaxing was not an option then, but hopefully the cyclers will have enjoyed the race as much as the preparation!
